During 2024 the Club is subsiding social and other event costs at an average rate of £10 per unit per rally, meaning that members who attend 2 or more rallies effectively cover their membership costs. There is an additional £10 per unit for this AGM rally.
Sysonby Acres, located a short walk away from Melton Mowbray town centre also has an 18 hole par 3 "pitch and put" golf course and "Foot Golf". Melton is the local food capital with an interesting Market and several farm shops nearby.
A little further afield is Oakham & Rutland Water (15 miles), Leicester and Stamford (both about 22 miles) and Foxton Locks (25 miles) which boasts the longest and steepest flight of locks in the UK.
The Club AGM will be held on the Saturday afternoon, followed by an evening social in the Crown in Asfordby a couple of miles from the site. As usual with AGM's, the Club will be subsidising the meal cost...in this case a 2 course meal for £15...buy one meal and you'll get the other free!! If you join the club and come to the social you'll effectively get your subs paid for!!
