Carrara Markets celebrates the 2025 LUNAR NEW YEAR OF THE SNAKE with a spectacular roving parade through the markets. The martial arts troupe present a spectacular Lion & Dragon dance bringing in the Lunar New Year with their traditional dance to symbolise power, wisdom and superiority. Chasing away the evil spirits to bring in good fortune and prosperity for the year ahead.
The magnificent troupe made up of martial artists from Black Mantis Kung Fu, will rove throughout the markets from 10am on Sunday 2nd February.
The parade starts inside the Big Shed. Listen out for the Chinese drums! Bring the kids for great photo opportunities!
