Lunar New Year Lion Dance Performance

Join us as we celebrate the Lunar New Year with a traditional lion dance performance at Garden City Center.

Come watch the Rhode Island Kung Fu Club, a non-profit dedicated to the training and education of martial and cultural arts of Chinese Lion Dance and Kung Fu, bring good luck and positivity to Garden City Center, and celebrate the Year of the Horse.

This interactive performance will start at 3:00 PM, travel throughout the sidewalks of Garden City Center, and end in a performance at the Gazebo (beginning around 3:25 pm). Guests will have the opportunity to learn more about the history and traditions of the Chinese New Year, and see the lion up close. This event is great for all ages!
