Join the Dojo of the Sun & Moon on Saturday, February 1st, 2025, for a special Lunar New Year class from 1-5PM to bring in and honor 'The Year of the Snake.' Schedule:
1:00 PM Greetings and open discussion
1:30 PM Discussion on elemental significance of the 'Year of the Wood Snake'
2:30 PM Elemental Chi Kung exercise
3:00 PM Year of the Snake Chi Kung set
4:00 PM Vision Boards for the New Year
We will open with a discussion led by Grayson Trice on what the Lunar New Year is, what the Year of the Snake represents, and how we can work with that energy throughout the year ahead. This discussion will include insight into the elemental significance of the cycle, with 2025 being the 'Year of the Wood Snake.' This will be followed by a special Elemental Chi Kung exercise that aligns energetically to the element of Wood.
Grayson will also be leading an hour long Chi Kung set specifically curated to embody and be able to work in harmony with the energies of this Lunar New Year. Grounding, Transformation, and Creativity. We will be doing a moving meditation practice suitable for beginners and experienced Chi Kung practitioners alike.
Chi Kung is an ancient Chinese healing art involving meditation, controlled breathing, and movement exercises. The benefits of Chi Kung practice include tranquility of mind and spirit, improved performance in intellectual and creative endeavors, and better overall health and well-being.
We will be meditating on and embodying creativity to honor the Lunar New by creating vision boards. Create your own unique collage to take home with you to commemorate the experience and manifest your intentions for 2025, the Year of the Wood Snake.

Grayson Trice, sifu of the Dojo of the Sun & Moon, brings decades of experience in martial arts, energy work/healing, Reiki, Esoterics and Chi Kung to guide you on this transformative journey.
