About this Event
Taige Wang, a 13-year-old piano prodigy and Young Steinway Artist, continues to captivate audiences worldwide with his exceptional talent and dedication to music. Currently studying at The Juilliard School under Yoheved Kaplinsky, Wang has garnered numerous accolades, including reaching the quarterfinals at The Cliburn Junior Competition and performing as a finalist with The Cleveland Orchestra at the Thomas and Evon Cooper International Piano Competition in 2023.
In celebration of the Lunar New Year, Wang is set to deliver an exclusive Spiriocast performance, live from Steinway Hall in New York, that will be broadcast globally on February 1, 2025. This event offers audiences worldwide the opportunity to experience his artistry in real-time, thanks to Steinway's Spirio technology—a high-resolution player piano capable of live performance capture and playback with remarkable precision.
Taige will be joined by acclaimed pianist and professor of music at The Juilliard School Yoheved Kaplinsky on a rendition of Antonín Dvořák's Slavonic Dances for Piano Four-Hands.
This Lunar New Year celebration will begin at 3 pm, with the SpirioCast beginning promptly at 4 pm on February 1st. We hope you can join us!
