Luna Wolf is taking over The Neighborhood Hotel Grand Beach and we want you to join us. It’s the perfect spot, nestled among the trees and a very short walk to Lake Michigan yet close to the amazing shops in downtown New Buffalo. It really has it all. We will have the entire Hotel, Pool, and Property with fire pits and games all to ourselves as long as we book out the rooms. So, grab your girl gang, besties, walking buddy, cousin, Mom neighbor or whoever you know that just needs a break and join us.
The adventure starts as soon as you pack up the car, so enjoy the ride there. Check in starts on FRIDAY at 3:00PM. Upon your arrival, you will be greeted with a SWAG BAG, Charcuterie Box filled with all sorts of amazing nosh by The Little Salumi and a Treat Box from Botanical Bakeshop with yummy sweets and snacks to savor as you settle in. Plan to meet in the Common Room at 7:00PM to kick off our festivities with a welcome circle and information session.
Each suite or cottage has its own kitchen and coffee machine so start the day off with brewing up a cup of joe and settling into the gorgeous surroundings. If you are craving community, you can meet by the fireplace in the common room and enjoy the ambiance and conversation or there are plenty of nooks and loungers to settle into for a quiet start. Weather permitting, we will take a walk to Lake Michigan for some Rise & Shine Yoga led by the fabulous Amy Parravano Drummond, where we can take in the surf and enjoy the skyline of Chicago in the background. If the weather won’t allow it, we will settle into the gorgeous Common Room and do Yoga by the fire.
After Yoga, we will all meet in the Common Room to learn how to bake Pastries from Katie (owner/head baker) of Botanical Bakeshop, a vegan bakehouse outside Ann Arbor. It will be the best way to top off our morning, as there is nothing like pastries straight out of the oven. When we finish up our workshop, we will grab our picnic lunches, prepared for us by The Little Salumi, and head to Warren Dunes State Park, climb the dunes and hike around the gorgeous park which is settled on Lake Michigan. Bring a beach towel and swimsuit if you want to take a plunge in the refreshing water with me!
Next, we will meet up with Third Coast Paddling for a beautiful paddle down the Galien River in Kayaks. Note, there are also Several: Wineries + Breweries + Restaurants + Shops nearby if that's more your style. The adventure is yours for the choosing.
We will all meet back up for a catered dinner, in the main lodge, and finish up the evening with a screen-printing workshop where you will get customize your own pair of comfy Champion sweats. The evening will be capped off with star gazing and a bonfire.
Sunday morning, since it would be way too hard to just pack up and leave, we will be gathering for another Yoga Class and breakfast in the Common Room. We will have time to exchange numbers with our new besties and reflect on our time together. And don’t worry, if you are craving even more, you can adventure all the way home by visiting neighboring towns and taking in the beach one more time.
Tickets include; all meals, Swag Swag Bag, Charcuterie, Treat Box, Pastry Workshop, Yoga, Activities and MORE. $540/Ticket. Please note that lodging is separate. Once you pay the registration fee, you will be able to book your room. Each Suite will have one person responsible for booking. Depending on the size of your room, lodging will range from approx. $200-$300 each. ALL Retreat Participants must stay at The Neighborhood Hotel Grand Beach. Please note that there are only 12 Suites available. Sizes of rooms range from Studios to One-Bedroom, Two-Bedroom, Three-Bedroom and Cottages. Depending on your party size, you will be assigned to a particular room. For example, if you only have 2 women attending together, you will book one of the Studios. If you have 7 women attending together, you may book a Cottage. Hotel charges will not happen until 2 weeks before check-in. At time of sign up, please indicate any food restrictions and what size sweatshirt you would like.
