We honour the Clan Mother of the second moon cycle 'Wisdom Keeper' with a fire ceremony and a prayer circle.
This powerful Snow moon in Leo helps us to embrace and celebrate our authentic talents and gifts.
This evening, we will be making offerings together for the fire, please bring your prayers and dreams, all materials will be provided.
I'm offering the teachings of Jamie Sams about the 13 Original Clan Mothers each month. Each story is a beautiful way to tune into the different aspects of ourselves as we journey along the sacred path. This helps us to discover our gifts, talents, and abilities of the feminine through the ancient teachings of sisterhood, the circle is open to everyone!
Oh keeper of ancient knowing
Whisper your wisdom to me
That I may always remember
Life's sacred mystery
The stories of the Grandmothers,
Brave deeds, great and small,
The progress of the Faithful,
Who answers our Mother's call.
The cycles and the seasons
That marks our every change,
The rebirth of our visions,
The spirit we have reclaimed.
Here truth is the victor
Of the war that dwells within,
Bringing every human heart
To celebration in the end.
Details:
Please allow plenty of time to arrive. Bring a warm blanket.
Possible offerings for the fire: rosemary sprigs, cinnamon sticks, dried lavender, dried flowers, tobacco, cacao, sage, small wax candles, or palo santo.
Please bring a song or a poem to share after the fire, as well as warm clothing and snacks. If you need to sit down, then it's best to bring a blanket or a camping chair for a front-row seat! Please wear suitable footwear for mud.
Bring shakers and small hand drums-rattles if you have them.
Cost: Suggested donation £ 15 to cover materials, if this is too much then just donate what you can.

Directions from C7 to Newhaven: Turn left by Abergavenny Arms down to the bottom of The Street and park in Monk's House Carpark. Then coming out of the car park, cross over the street and walk past Briar Cottage on your right. We are the next turning on the right-hand side, directly after a white wooden double garage.
