Luminous Watercolour: Strong Foundation, Less Frustration!

Watercolour is the most accessible, most difficult medium to to master. Let me share the fundamental principals, the actual science of watercolour, to help you leapfrog the learning curve and make beautiful art.

This is a two part, two ticket beginner workshop. Buy a ticket for both events and don't miss a thing!

Part 1: Lecture and learn while sipping a beverage and snack at the lovely Boathouse Cafe. This session presents learning about the basic tools, science, insights, and tricks of watercolour almost always overlooked so you can make informed artistic choices with positive results.

Part 2: We dive into hands-on fundamentals of watercolour painting followed by creating a monochrome Christmas card. Sipping and snacking encouraged!

Wrap-up: You'll be given homework to prepare for the next level coming February 2025. You'll go home with a cheat sheet and ideas how to prepare.
