Luminescent Glass on Glass

The Glass on Glass medium is a combination of both mosaic and stained glass. Glass pieces are glued to a clear glass substrate and then grouted. The light illuminates the finished design creating a dynamic piece of art.

Learn how to design your own panel or choose from a few pre-made templates, cut-down glass stripes, and arrange your colors. We will also have a collection of glass gems from the Museum of Glass to include as accents to your design.

After completing your own 5-7 glass panel during the workshop, the instructor will grout and frame the finished product for you to pick up at the gallery. This is a beginning-level glass workshop, no prior art experience is needed. Recommended for ages 13+. Glass is a delicate medium and students will need to follow strict safety precautions. All of the materials are included in the cost of the workshop!

Instructor, Christina Bertucchi, has been working in glass art for 20 years. She is a full-time high school art teacher and has been an exhibiting artist at Collective Visions Gallery since May 2023.
