Join Enterprise State Community College for an inspiring evening with Lulu Gribbin, founder of the Lulu Strong Foundation, shark attack survivor, adaptive athlete, and youth advocate.
At just 17 years old, Lulu has become a powerful voice for resilience, courage, and purpose. After surviving a life-altering shark attack on Florida’s Gulf Coast in 2024, Lulu began a remarkable journey of recovery that included lifesaving surgeries, advanced rehabilitation, prosthetics, and an unwavering determination to move forward.
Her story does not stop with survival. Lulu has used her experience to advocate for others, helping inspire safety legislation known as the Lulu Gribbin Shark Alert System Act in Alabama and founding the Lulu Strong Foundation, a nonprofit focused on improving access to advanced prosthetics, virtual reality therapy, and emerging technologies for amputees.
During this special presentation, Lulu will share her story of strength, gratitude, faith, advocacy, and hope. Guests will hear how one young woman turned a devastating experience into a mission to help others and make the world a safer, better place.
