Luke and his band are heading to Hotel Brunswick this November. Luke Morris is an Australian Singer/Songwriter and guitarist who currently performs solo and under the banner of Luke Morris & The Heavy Hitters. Over the last number of years, Luke has released two studio Albums, 'Sugarcane Road', 'Maybe were just running home’ an E.P and several singles. He has appeared at Australia's renowned ‘Blues & Roots’ and ‘Splendour in the Grass’ festivals and supported some great Australian musicians along the way.
Hailing from the rugged coastline of South Australia but now firmly entrenched as a Byron shire local Luke began his music career as a solo indie folk musician to later form Aussicana outfit Luke Morris and the Heavy Hitters.
His latest musings see him collaborating with friends from Ocean Alley and Seaside to bring you his very own unique brand of Aussicana, often drawing from childhood memories and the Australian outback, 90’s desert sounds, blood orange skies and the quintessential cowgirl.
