Join us for a special artist-led walkthrough with acclaimed Chicano poet, author, and photographer Luis J. Rodriguez in celebration of the exhibition, "Always Running: Photography by Luis J. Rodriguez."Rodriguez will guide visitors through the exhibition, sharing personal stories, historical context, and reflections on his photographs and murals documenting Chicana/o youth, gang culture, and life in the San Gabriel Valley from the 1960s through the 1980s.
Guests are invited to engage directly with the artist and gain deeper insight into the images and experiences that shaped his work and literary legacy.
The event will also feature a mini book fair presented by Tía Chucha’s Centro Cultural & Bookstore.
