Lucky 7 NYC / The Hipp Pipps at 11th St. Bar

9:30pm - Lucky 7 is back with a vengeance. Formed by Barry Ryan(Rockats) and Kenny Margolis (Mink DeVille,Cracker), Lucky 7 recorded three albums and toured The USA, Canada, Europe and Scandinavia from the mid 80’s to the mid 90’s. Writers from Rolling Stone and The New York Times have called their music zydebilly and a Cajun rhythm & blues rock’n’roll gumbo. Back with Ryan and Margolis are percussionist Boris Kinberg (Mink DeVille) and original bass player Kevin Shaw (Hipp Pipps). Joining Lucky 7 is drummer Dave Donen, who has played with many great artists including Chuck Berry, Tim Hardin, Lenny Kaye and Marc Ribot and has played on 65+ recordings.
