Lucid Dreaming Sketch Auditions

We’ll be hosting an audition to join the ensemble in our as-yet-unnamed January 2027 sketch comedy show at Broom Street Theater. If you've never seen a Lucid Dreaming Sketch show before, we produce short, scripted comedy scenes written by local talent. You can learn more about us at our website.
The show will rehearse in December and January (with a break for the holidays) and perform 3 weekends from 1/15/27 to 1/31/27.
Saturday, 10/24 from 1-3pm at 504 S. Brearly St. (Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center)
Wednesday, 10/28 from 6:30-8:30pm at 504 S. Brearly St. (Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center)
Please fill out this audition form ahead of time to save yourself some paperwork when you arrive. The audition will consist of cold readings from some previous show scripts. Auditioners are encouraged to also submit writing pieces.

We're also accepting writing submissions for our show. Pieces are typically around 5 minutes long and you can submit up to 5 for consideration.
You can email your scripts to [email protected] on or before 10/24/27. If you want to send an early draft for feedback you can reach out via email or attend one of our free writing workshops (see our website for details on those).
