Freshly Squeezed Comedy is the high-energy, wacky standup duo of Lefty Crumpet & Jesse The Shrink. They book, produce, and perform in their own shows throughout the state of Minnesota. Lefty brings his silly songs & Jesse brings his unique perspectives as a licensed therapist (yes he really is a shrink & yes, that probably means he's analyzing you).

Joining them for this very special show at LTD Brewing will be feature comic Pearl Rose, who performs regularly at Minneapolis' premiere comedy club, Acme Comedy Co., & headliner Aron Woldeslassie, who is a Twin Cities crowd favorite recently named a "Comic To Watch in 2025" by Racket MN. ABOUT OUR COMEDIANS:

Headliner: Aron Woldeslassie

Aron is a St Paul-based rising star on the Twin Cities comedy scene. Fresh off being named a "Comic To Watch in 2025" by Racket MN, he was also featured in last year's St Paul Comedy All-Stars Show & has been a finalist in all the competitions (Funniest Person in St Paul, Funniest Person in Minneapolis, Funniest Person with a Day Job...). Aron's comedy comes from a blend of observations on race, relationships, & culture as well as personal stories.

In addition to being a comedian, Aron is also an author & producer. He's a founding member of The Nordly & Minnesota Tonight & his work has been featured on Minnesota Public Radio, TPT’s Almanac, Mpls.St.Paul Magazine, & various literary magazines.

Pearl is a comedian, writer, & performer currently based out of Minneapolis, MN. She has participated in the Limestone Comedy Festival, District of Laughs Festival & was featured in the “Best of the Fest” showcase at 10,000 Laughs Festival.

Pearl has performed at venues up & down the East Coast & across the Midwest including the Kennedy Center, DC Improv, & State Theater in downtown Minneapolis. She has opened for Louis Katz, Phil Hanley, Geoff Asmus & Mark Normand. Pearl has been featured in the Star Tribune & the Washington Post’s The Lily & was named one of Racket MN’s Comics to Watch 2023.

Jesse The Shrink
What do you get when you mix a shrink & comedian? This guy! Jesse is a bona fide licensed therapist & standup comic who gives audiences a sneak peek into the inner-workings & often hilarious experiences of a mental health professional. Whether he’s talking about navigating virtual therapy sessions during an apocalypse or just trying to figure out what to tell drunk people he does for a living, one thing’s sure: after hearing his stories you’ll never see therapy (or your therapist) the same again!

Jesse is the producer & host of Jesse The Shrink’s Midlife Crisis Show, the St Paul Comedy All-Stars Show, Friday Night Comedy at Gambit Brewing, St Paul Art Crawl Comedy Night, Therapy & Politics, & the 420 Standup Comedy Show.

He’s also co-founder of Freshly Squeezed Comedy, creator of the Funniest Person in St Paul contest, & runs a weekly comedy open mic at Gambit Brewing. Jesse won the 2024 Clear Water Comedy contest at The Plus in Eau Claire, WI, was a 2024 Funniest Person With A Day Job finalist at House of Comedy in Mall of America, & is a regular guest on the Tom Barnard Podcast.

Lefty Crumpet
Lefty is a 25-year-old, Minneapolis-based, ethnically-ambiguous, joke-slinging, musical funnyman with social anxiety from Riverside, California. He started doing standup comedy in college & immediately fell in love with the stage. His love of playing music led him to begin incorporating comedy songs into his standup performances. He lifts your hearts and minds with absurd and hilarious jokes and tunes, about various topics ranging from relationships to Doordash.
Lefty was a finalist in the Funniest Person With a Day Job contest at Rick Bronson’s House of Comedy in Mall of America & is co-founder of Freshly Squeezed Comedy. He also performed in the 2024 Loons on the Lake festival, and was featured on MyTalk 107.1: The Brittany and Kendall Show. You can find him bringing joy and confusion to crowds all over the Midwest.
