LTA Activator Course

Weegie Whackers are delighted to offer you a training opportunity in partnership with Tennis Scotland. As part of our aims to up-skill members of our community we are offering the following course totally free. Limited to 24 participants.

Course name: Activator Course (2 hours) in person training.

Where and when: Friday 10 January 7-9pm, Easterhouse Sports Centre. 12 Auchinlea Rd, Glasgow G34 9HQ

Who is it for: All levels. Activators do not need to be skilled tennis players, the most important qualities are good communication and organisational skills, as well as being great with people.

What will you learn: The course covers various elements, including session content, organisation, safeguarding and inclusion, to equip the Activators with the necessary skills and knowledge.

Why: This is a great way to develop your tennis skills and knowledge and will help you to contribute to WW group training sessions alongside an existing coach. This is also a great qualification to have if you are interested in more coaching courses.
