A twist on a holiday classic! LSU Symphony will present excerpts from Tchaikovsky's beloved ballet, The Nutcracker. This timeless orchestral score brings to life musical staples including Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, Trepak and Waltz of the Flowers.
And for an added twist, LSU Symphony will be joined by LSU Jazz Ensemble for Nutcracker - as created by Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn. The Nutcracker is so good, one should hear it twice!
