The LSO launches the 2026–2027 season with a program of epic proportions. First, the remarkable young pianist Brielle Perez brings her virtuosity to Mozart’s brooding Piano Concerto No. 20. Then, 80 musicians fill the stage for one of the most spectacular symphonies ever written, Mahler’s First, “The Titan.” From its mysterious opening to its triumphant finale, this is music of irresistible power. Thank you to University of Lynchburg, Bank of the James, and our generous individual underwriters for making this concert possible.
