LSFC Golf v. Richmond RFC

Scots Golfer,
Weds 1st July is the revised date for our annual golf match against Richmond RFC,
Last year our team comprised mainly current rugby players,
selection preference will be given to current rugby players this year too,
the team will then be made up with ex-players and active supporters,
Royal Mid-Surrey GC have, again, welcomed us to play without paying a green fee,
although, players are invited to contribute £10 to £20 to The Captains' Charity,
Royal Mid-Surrey Golf Club
The 1st Tee is reserved from 1600hrs,
if you need one of the later tee times, just let me know,
Food will be served afterwards, on the patio,
so, there is no need for a change of clothing - unless we get wet on the course,
cost for food is about £15,
At a previous golf event, Gavin Hastings likened London Scots Golfers with the national team,
"We all play with a smile,"
Thus, we are looking for sporting, rather than scratch, golfers for the LSFC team,
play is in pairs off handicap - blame your partner and/or the selection committee if you lose,
Spectators are very welcome,
Last year Supporters included Doug Cowie and Al McHarg,
Neither made it out of the bar and onto the course - but, the thought was there,
