Join us for the first ever Lowestoft Santa Dash, a festive 2K cross-country fun run open to all ages and abilities! Whether you run, jog, or walk, it’s a great way to get active, spread Christmas cheer, and support a fantastic local cause.

Fancy dress is not compulsory, but it’s encouraged to help create a festive atmosphere — whether you go all out in costume or simply wear a Santa hat, it all adds to the Christmas spirit!

Please note: Children aged 14 or below must be accompanied by an adult due to the course terrain.

• Adult Entry: £6
• Child Entry (14 years & under): £3

• Entries close on 17th December 2025
• No on-the-day registrations
• Places are limited — book early to avoid disappointment
• Entries are non-refundable

Each entry includes:

✅ Support for a great local cause

A 2K cross-country route starting and finishing at Denes Oval.
The terrain is fully on grass and trail paths, so please wear appropriate footwear and be prepared to get a little muddy — it is December, after all!

• The route is not suitable for wheelchairs
• Dogs and prams/pushchairs are not permitted
• Children aged 14 or below must be accompanied by an adult
• First aid provision will be present on the day to ensure the safety of all participants
• Toilets are located at Denes Oval (the start and finish area)
• Water will be available free of charge after you finish your dash

Car Parking:
Car parking is limited, so we encourage other ways of arriving at Denes Oval — such as cycling or using public transport.
If you must drive, please car share or get dropped off by a friend or family member.

We recommend arriving between 9:45am and 10:00am to allow plenty of time before the start and to get parked if you are driving.

Nearby Car Parks (Free):

• Whapload Road Car Park – Whapload Rd, Lowestoft NR32 1UY (2-minute walk to start)
• Links Road Car Park – Links Rd, Lowestoft NR32 4PQ (5–10 minute walk to start)

By Bike:
Extra cycle racks will be available within Denes Oval for participants to securely lock their bikes — it’s a great way to warm up before the dash!

By Bus:
The nearest bus stop is a 5-minute walk from Denes Oval on Yarmouth Road.
This stop is served by the 1/1A Coastal Clipper, 101 Coastal Reds, and X1 Coastlink services.

By Train:
If you’re arriving by rail, Lowestoft Railway Station is approximately a 30-minute walk from Denes Oval.
The station is served by hourly trains from Norwich and Ipswich.

All proceeds from the event go directly to the Lowestoft Food Bank, helping to support local families in need this Christmas.

There will also be a food donation drop-off point on the day, and additional opportunities to contribute towards the charity throughout the event.

After completing your dash, enjoy your complimentary mince pie and hot drink (tea, coffee, or hot chocolate).
Vegan, vegetarian, and dairy-free options available.

Prizes will be awarded for the best festive outfits, so don’t be afraid to get creative!

There will be no bag drop or changing facilities available.

You’ll be granted entry to the participant area by showing your QR code or ticket to one of our friendly volunteers.
Please ensure you have your ticket saved on your phone or printed out, as we cannot allow you to participate without a valid ticket.
