Join us at Martins Hi-Fi for an afternoon focused on one of the most important — and often overlooked — aspects of system performance: lowering the noise floor.
Most hi-fi systems are limited not by their components, but by interference. RFI, mains noise, and environmental factors all mask detail and reduce clarity. Lowering the Noise Floor (LTNF) is about removing that interference, so you hear more of what’s actually in the recording.
Throughout the day, we’ll demonstrate this in a clear and practical way. Using a carefully selected reference system, built around a J.Sikora Aspire turntable, full Gold Note electronics, and OePhi loudspeakers, we’ll introduce different elements of noise floor management step by step, so you can hear the impact for yourself.
The sessions, hosted by Airt Audio, will cover mechanical isolation (Stillpoints), system grounding and magnetic field management (Entreq), and room acoustics (Acustica Applicata).
