This ain’t your grandparents blues!Rooted in the rich soil of the Mississippi Delta and Hill Country, Stud Ford & Will Coppage are torchbearers of a raw, electrified blues tradition—revitalized for a new generation. As a duo, they channel over two decades of musical experience into a sound that is gritty, soulful, and unflinchingly real.
Stud Ford, grandson of the legendary bluesman T-Model Ford, was raised in the deep groove of juke joints and front-porch stompdowns. He began playing drums for his grandfather at age six and now brings that same primal rhythm to the stage with thunderous energy and unmatched charisma.
Will Coppage, a U.S. Air Force veteran and accomplished writer, adds fire and finesse on guitar, vocals, and production. His signature tone and stage presence carry the spirit of the Delta forward while embracing the power of modern storytelling through music.
Together, they are Blues Legacy—not just a name, but a mission. With their debut EP Ain’t No Love and the nationwide Mississippi Shake Tour, the pair honor the past while creating something unmistakably their own. Beyond music, they are working to launch a nonprofit in the Mississippi Delta, dedicated to providing young people access to music, art, and entrepreneurial education.
