Breaking out of the classical cello repertoire and venturing into the realm of classic rock and pop, Low Strung performs concerts that are characterized by sweeping, innovative arrangements of tunes by Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Coldplay, the Who, the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, the Eagles, U2, AC/DC and many more. Using the incredible versatility of the cello to extraordinary effect, these cellists bring a unique and exciting sound to rock classics, heavy metal favorites, and pop tunes. Made up of Yale undergraduate students, Low Strung is unique and unforgettable. Homemade refreshments will be available for purchase at intermission.

A portion of the concert ticket sales will be donated to Heads Up! Hartford -- a 501(c)3 organization that brings together urban and suburban teens for a week every June promoting diversity, developing leadership skills, and providing community service in the Hartford area.
