Under 18 Low Sensory Gaming Sessions at PlayABLE 🎮
Looking for a quieter, more relaxed space to enjoy gaming?
At PlayABLE, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to enjoy gaming in an environment where they feel comfortable and welcome.
Our Adult Low Sensory Gaming Sessions are designed for under 18's who may prefer a calmer, quieter gaming experience with fewer people and reduced sensory stimulation.
What to expect:
During these sessions, we'll make adjustments to create a more comfortable and relaxed environment, including:
Limited numbers: fewer people in the venue to create a calmer atmosphere.
Reduced lighting: softer lighting throughout the space.
No flashing or RGB lighting: to help minimise visual stimulation.
No background music: keeping noise levels as low as possible.
Only gaming stations in use will be switched on: reducing unnecessary noise and distractions.
Headsets available at every gaming station: allowing you to enjoy your game without adding to the surrounding noise.
No pressure to stay: you're welcome to stay for as little or as long as you feel comfortable, within your booked session.
Whether you're an experienced gamer or picking up a controller for the very first time, you're welcome at PlayABLE.
Our venue offers a variety of gaming experiences, including modern consoles, retro gaming and accessible gaming equipment including Sensepilot.
Session prices:
30 minutes: £4
1 hour: £7
1 hour 30 min: £10
2 hours: £12
Under 18 (we also run adult sessions. Please see our other events for information on these).
We understand that busy environments, bright lights and background noise can sometimes make gaming spaces overwhelming.
Our aim is to provide a welcoming, inclusive environment where you can relax, enjoy your favourite games, try something new and take things at your own pace.
You don't need to have a disability or diagnosis to attend. These sessions are for any adult who would benefit from a quieter gaming environment.
