MARK YOUR CALENDARS!The next LOW COST SPAY/NEUTER CERTIFICATE SALE is on Saturday, OCTOBER 18th, at Tractor Supply from 9 to 11:30 am in Pickens County, Georgia. COME EARLY as certificates are limited. We have budgeted for 50 cat and 50 dog certificates. NO certificates are issued between quarterly or posted “special” certificate sales.
ONCE THE CERTIFICATE IS ISSUED, A CLINIC DATE WILL BE ASSIGNED TO THE CERTIFICATE HOLDER. CLINIC WILL BE AT ALL THE FIXINS IN BALL GROUND ON 9-2, 9-3 AND 9-4. EACH CLINIC HAS TO BE FILLED STARTING WITH 9-2 PRIOR TO ASSIGNING THE NEXT DAY. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CAN MAKE THESE DATES IF YOU COME TO THE SALE.
We set up at starting at 8 and often start issuing Certificates earlier as there are people standing in line at 8 AM when the Tractor Supply Opens.
For clarification, we are NOT a Veterinarian Clinic, Humane Society, Rescue, or Animal Shelter that rehomes pets. We are a 501(c)(3) Animal Advocacy Group consisting of volunteers who work to raise awareness and funds to subsidize Spay/Neuter surgeries through fundraising, sponsors, and grants. This initiative does not receive government subsidies, and available funding is limited.
THIS program is dedicated to assisting individuals with LIMITED FINANCIAL RESOURCES to spay/neuter their pets. If you can afford spaying or neutering your pet, please consider utilizing ATF's services. You’ll find further information on their website: https://catsnipga.com/allthefixins/
Lastly, we do have a TNR PROGRAM for feral cats. FERAL CATS are ones that CANNOT BE PETTED or picked up. We are more than happy to help Caretakers to control their population. WE LOAN TRAPS, TEACH THE CARETAKER HOW TO TRAP AND GET APPOINTMENTS TO GET THE FERAL CAT NEUTERED. The Caretaker traps, takes the cat to the appointment and returns the cat to its home. We do ask for a donation towards the TNR package surgery but work with each caretaker individually to help address their colony.
