About this Event
Come and be held by these two great masters whose work still sustains us across the centuries. Rumi once said that his work would ‘come back into the world when it was most needed.’ For some, like Hafiz, it has never left us as we journey deeper and deeper into the mysteries of love.
Ashley Ramsden is the founder of the School of Storytelling at Emerson College UK, (1994) the longest running centre of its kind. He travels the world with his acclaimed storytelling performances and is a speaker of sacred poetry. Rumi and Hafiz have for many years, been his daily bread.
The event will be in the sacred setting of The School of Sufi Teaching.
The poetery will accompanied on Oud by Julia Katerina.
After the poetry performance, tea will be served followed by an optional 45 minute silent sufi meditation.
