Loverman is the solo project of Anglo-Belgian James de Graef. On his debut, ‘Lovesongs’, the the deep-voiced singer-songwriter reveals himself in melancholic folk that sounds otherworldly and timeless at the same time.
Following in the footsteps of greats like Leonard Cohen and Nick Cave, Loverman evolves into a world of chiaroscuro. With its uncomplicated yet enveloping atmosphere and its rousing emotions moving between the joyous highs of love and its darker side, ‘Lovesongs’ proves to be a true feast for the heart, mind and soul.
