“Tell me everything is not about me... but what if it is?” - Taylor Swift, Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me
How Lover Began:
Taylor Swift’s unquestionably iconic Eras Tour has become a cultural and economic phenomenon—the highest-grossing tour of all time, domination of news cycles and social media, tributes from governments—and has captured the attention and created obsession in fans and non-fans alike in a way that has never been seen before in the modern era. Swifties have been following every highlight from the Eras Tour like it’s our favorite football team!
Charity Eden (lead singer of Lover) attended the Eras Tour on March 31, 2023 and was privileged to have a floor seat, front row, 10 feet away from Taylor, and was wonderstruck by the performance! But as the Eras Tour continued, ticket prices went higher and higher, making it almost impossible for the majority of fans to be able to attend the Eras Tour, let alone as close as the front row. So Charity felt completely inspired to create an opportunity for more people to be able to experience the Eras Tour, and so began the era of Lover!
Who is Charity Eden anyway? Ew.
You’ll discover that Charity’s musical background is quite impressive. Charity is a Texas-based musician known for alluring her audience with her charisma and powerfully expressive vocal style. At just 7 years old, Charity began seizing every opportunity to perform—whether at churches, school events, talent shows, or even the local Opry in her hometown of Wylie, Texas.
Inspired by artists like Adele, Paramore, and of course, Taylor Swift, her sound is crafted from music that not only uplifts listeners but also transports them to another realm. Charity has a remarkable ability to captivate her audience and connect
with the crowd, making everyone feel seen and engaged—much like Taylor Swift.
Charity’s love for music blossomed as she grew, accompanying her through college and beyond. Pursuing her passion, she attended the University of North Texas (UNT), one of the world’s most renowned music schools, where she earned a degree in music with a voice concentration. During her time at UNT, Charity did what she does best: she built connections. She feels
fortunate to have the opportunity to perform with some of the country’s most talented musicians. Whether performing at local venues, churches, weddings, and corporate events, Charity is always accompanied by top-notch musicians.
For over 15 years, she has been her own bandleader, showcasing her skills on guitar, piano, and even bass guitar. With her strong foundation in music theory, aural skills, leadership, and networking, she has made a significant impact on the Dallas-Fort Worth music scene. In 2023, Charity began releasing her own music, establishing herself as an original artist. You
can check out “Charity Eden” on Spotify and Apple Music!
The Unofficial Eras Tour
Creating a show reminiscent of the Eras Tour was no easy feat, but Charity was determined to craft an experience that closely mirrored the highest-grossing tour of all time. Charity truly goes all out in everything she does; when she commits to a project, she gives it her all. She knew she wanted every era, every costume, every iconic moment, every dance move, every
mannerism, and each unique note change that Taylor performs on tour. Charity aimed to make her audience truly feel as if they were experiencing the Eras Tour.
Fully committed to creating the best show possible, Charity left her job in wealth management to pursue this project full-time—and she hasn’t looked back since. She has assembled a dedicated team to bring these shows to life and has built an impressive following along the way. What began as a humble start playing local venues soon transformed into bringing her Unofficial Eras Tour around the world. Lover has performed in Japan, Kuwait, and all across North America, with upcoming shows in the Philippines, Canada, and beyond!
Get ready to be amazed by the incredible attention to detail and intention woven into every moment of The Unofficial Eras Tour show. For all the fans who couldn’t get Eras Tour tickets, those who attended and are craving more, and for both dedicated
music lovers and casual listeners, Lover’s Unofficial Eras Tour is sure to surpass your expectations for a tribute band concert.
When you see Lover live, the goal is to deliver an unforgettable experience. So get your tour outfits ready and let’s make the whole place shimmer!
