Tickets: CAD $13 online, $17 at the door

Show Description
Local performers share work centering on love and loss, and maybe even some redemption! The show features two singer songwriters, a poet, and a live artist. They'll be offering you some combination of thoughtful chuckles, warm laughter and a few tears cried in earnest too. If all goes well, you might make a few new friends as well!
Bios
Benoît is a singer songwriter who's work lives between silliness and sorrow. He writes about growing past guilt and self erasure in the same breath as off-the-wall improvised songs about everything from spacebound unicorns and/or wolverines with digestive issues (depending on what the audience suggests that day). He steals with gratitude from his idols, from Paul Simon to Frank Black. You can find him at @ducks_please
---
Farrah is a poet and writer whose work explores the delicate balance between introspection and connection, examining the stories we inherit and the ones we tell ourselves. Her poetry seeks to make the deeply personal feel universal, inviting audiences to recognize fragments of themselves within her words. Beyond the page, she is an instigator of (mostly) harmless chaos and a deviser of elaborate prank ideas. Find her at @starryeyed.art
---
Catherine dong (she/they) is a singer-songwriter. like many, they started writing the first time they fell in love.
They're working on their debut album at little bullhorn (thanks for your patience, Dave!) and hope to release this year. as of writing, they have two tattoos.
They're very grateful to have found an artistic community through open mics here in Ottawa – you can find them online @catherinekdong
---
Corrina from @artbycorinna is a multidisciplinary artist. She dabbles in live drawing, painting, murals and landscape design. She draws inspiration from life, color, vibrancy and nature.

IMPORTANT ACCESSIBILITY INFO
We provide gender-neutral washrooms. We have one wheelchair accessible washroom. There is no wheelchair ramp. There is a set of 8 stairs to get into the building (7 steps, small landing, and then an 8th step). Once inside, the whole cafe floor is flat, with the exception of our small room to the side, which is a small step down.
We are licensed to provide alcohol, but serve a variety of non-alcoholic options.
This event takes place on the traditional unceded, unsurrendered territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin People.
