Ready to dive in and do something incredible for your local hospice? Join us for Make Waves for Willen, our very first open water swim challenge taking place as part of the Love Willen celebration on 23 May.Set against the stunning surroundings of Willen Lake, this exciting new event invites swimmers of all abilities to take to the water, push their limits, and raise vital funds for Willen Hospice.
Whether you’re a seasoned open water swimmer or simply looking for a new challenge, this is your chance to make a splash for a great cause.
You’ll have 30 minutes in the water to complete as many laps as you can of our 300m course. Most swimmers will aim to complete up to 900m, but the challenge is all about setting your own pace and enjoying the experience.
Two swim waves are available:
9:30am – 10:00am
10:30am – 11:00am
Spaces are limited to 60 swimmers, so early registration is encouraged.
Registration fee: £25
Your entry includes:
A finisher’s medal 🏅
A tow float (required for water safety)
Fundraising target: By signing up you are committing to raising £100
Every pound you raise will help us to continue providing compassionate, specialist care to people in our community who need it most.
