You are invited to participate in the Love Walk for the Poor on Sunday, February 8, 2026—a meaningful tradition that allows us to stand in solidarity with those in need.The day will begin with 9:00 AM Mass in the Chapel. At approximately 10:00 AM, we will gather outside the Chapel to carry our donations and walk to the Felician Sisters’ Cemetery for a blessing, joined by the Felician Sisters. Afterwards, we will walk to the school to drop off our donations.
Started 35 years ago by Sister Louise Marie Olsofka, the Love Walk for the Poor is sponsored by the OLSH Mission Leader and Campus Ministry. All participants are encouraged to bring:
Baby items (blankets, bottles, diapers, wipes) for Choices Pregnancy Services
Non-perishable food items for Our Lady’s Food Pantry
Cash donations (checks payable to “OLSH Pantry Fund” or “Choices Pregnancy Center”)
Sign up in the OLSH main office or call (412) 264-5140 by Wednesday, February 4.
Please dress for the weather, as we walk in the cold to reflect on the challenges faced by those who must carry all their possessions with them.
We hope you will join us in prayer and service for those less fortunate.
