The Nancy J. Brua Animal Care Center invites the public to a special “Love Unleashed” adoption showcase at the dog parks at Tompkins Park, where the shelter's adoptable dogs will show off their true personalities in live, off-leash playgroups.
From 8 to 11 a.m., the public is encouraged to come watch dozens of adoptable dogs play together in supervised social groups, featuring splash pools, chases, zoomies, and lots of tail wags. Experienced volunteers will be on-site to manage dog interactions and answer questions about each dog’s behavior and compatibility.
Adoption discounts will be available for attendees who visit the shelter afterward. Adoptions begin at noon at the Nancy J. Brua Animal Care Center, where visitors can meet their match from the morning’s event.
Whether you're looking to adopt, foster, or just see some happy dogs, "Love Unleashed" is a chance to connect with animals in a way that goes beyond the kennel.
