Love Rides The Rails - Information Night

CPP Community Theatre's Play for 2027 is... LOVE RIDES THE RAILS - Directed by Russell Waters!
We are thrilled to be bringing you this classic melodrama, our first production of an exciting and jam-packed 2027 season!✨
🎬 THE SHOW:
Set in the US in the 1890s, this classic melodrama has everything you could want from the genre: dashing heroes, distressed damsels, sinister villains, scheming femme fatales, narrow escapes, and plenty of audience interaction. With larger-than-life characters, highly stylised performances, live musical accompaniment and plenty of laughs, Love Rides the Rails is a wonderfully entertaining ride from start to finish.
Will evil triumph or will virtue prevail? And most importantly... will the mail train run tonight?
INFORMATION NIGHT:
🗓️ Monday 16 November at 7:30pm
📍The Factory, Unit 20, 63-71 Bayfield Road East, Bayswater.
We will be holding an Information Night where you can meet the director, hear about the vision for the production, learn more about the unique world of melodrama, take part in script readings and sign up for an audition. This production will also feature ensemble opportunities, musical interludes and a variety of performance styles (think juggling, conjuring, plate-spinning), making it a fantastic chance for performers of all experience levels to get involved. Attendance at the Information Night is highly recommended for anyone interested in auditioning, as it forms an important part of the audition process. Even if you are not planning to audition, come along anyway – there are plenty of opportunities both on and off stage to be part of this exciting production.
