Desert Voices presents our annual Pride Month Concert, making our Fox Tucson Theatre debut! Artistic Director Dr. James Higgs has curated musical selections representing the voices of the LGBTQIA+ community, featuring songwriters, artists, composers, and arrangers from the community. Founded in 1988, Desert Voices holds the distinction of being Southern Arizona's first LGBTQIA+ Ally chorus, paving the way for other Southern Arizona GALA choruses to form and flourish. Desert Voices' mission is fostering community through song, and our chorus is committed to promoting an ongoing positive presence in the community and advocating understanding, cooperation, and peaceful coexistence.
