Can you write, shoot, and edit a romance film in just two weeks?Love Notes is back, challenging filmmakers to create a 5–9 minute short romance film inspired by a set of surprise prompts revealed at kickoff. From first kisses to last chances, rom-coms to heartbreakers, Love Notes celebrates love in all its beautifully messy forms.
📅 Competition Begins: Wednesday, January 21, 2026
🎞 Films Due: Wednesday, February 4, 2026 (by noon)
💡 The Challenge: Filmmakers receive three prompts — a prop, a line of dialogue, and a sound effect — and have 14 days to bring their story to life
🎟 Screening & Awards Ceremony: Saturday, February 14, 2026
