Leash Manners Bootcamp: Stop Pulling & Build Calm

This indoor winter workshop is designed to help you finally enjoy calm, polite, stress-free walks — even if your dog currently drags you down the street.

Join us inside Lowe’s Carson City, where we’ll turn real store aisles into a fun, controlled training environment. You’ll learn simple, effective leash skills that work in everyday life — no harsh tools, no frustration, no long hours outside in the cold.

We’ll meet at the Garden Center entrance for a short warmup, then head inside the store where it’s comfortable and pet-friendly.

This workshop is friendly, approachable, and perfect for brand-new dog owners.

Teach your dog to stop forging ahead and walk calmly beside you using clear, simple patterns.

Learn how to signal direction, speed, and expectations — and how to reward good choices.

Practice passing other dogs, pausing politely, navigating narrow aisles, and staying tuned-in.

We’ll show you how to handle the excitement caused by carts, people, noises, displays, and scents.

Leave with a routine that makes daily walks smoother and more enjoyable.

All skills are taught with encouragement, laughter, and zero intimidation.
