Celebrate Valentine's Day early by making thoughtful cards for survivors of domestic violence!
Peace at Home will be at Six Twelve Coffeehouse & Bar on Thursday, February 6th from 4pm-6pm providing craft materials for everyone to decorate Valentine's Day cards and notes of affirmation to be delivered to survivors at Peace at Home Family Shelter.
Holidays can be especially hard for families escaping violence, with Valentine's Day being one of the hardest for folks who have experienced abuse and have chosen to rebuild their lives away from their abusive partners. You can be a part of making a difference for these people, offering words of kindness and support inside of a card that you get to decorate yourself!
This event is free and available to anyone interested in participating. Family and friends are welcome, come and go as you please!
