Join us for this year's Christmas Lights Switch On event - Friday 22nd November, from 4.30pm!
Marking the start of the festive shopping season, come and celebrate with the Newmarket community. The High Street will close once again to welcome a family friendly funfare, local food stalls and plenty of shopping opportunities within our stores, restaurants and eateries.
With events taking place on stage all through the evening you can enjoy:
5:00- Launch with Jezo
5:05-5:20- Brookes School Singers
5:25-5:35- Sarah Kiernan- winner of Newmarket's Got Talent 2024
5:40-6:00- Starlight Sisters
6:10- 6:25- Performance from The Snow Queen, The Ice Princess, The Ice master and deliverer and The Snowman Friend
6:30-6:50- Newmarket Community Choir
7:00- Switch On with Sarah Kiernan and an extra special guest.
Car Parks & Toilets
All public car parks will be free from 4pm. The Guineas multi-story will be open later until 9pm. The Guineas and Memorial Garden toilets will be open until 9pm.
This year we're also pleased to extend our offering of food stalls, transforming the area in front of the Bill Tutte Memorial. We will welcome:

Don't forget there's also a chance to meet our wonderful Snow Queen, The Ice Princess, The Ice Master and Deliverer and The Snowman Friend which will take place on The Bill Tutte Memorial between 5:00- 6:00 and 6:30-7:00.
Many of our local businesses will also remain open throughout the evening making it a wonderful celebration of the season and our community. Come along and join in the fun!
