Join us at the tracks this Valentine’s weekend as Trackside Theater presents A.R. Gurney’s Love Letters featuring Brad Taylor and Lisa Aleshire as Andy and Melissa. The play’s two characters are a man and a woman who exchange letters, but not marriage vows, in a warm and complicated friendship lasting 50 years. Because they choose others as mates, and live to regret it, Love Letters has a wistful tone: beneath the sparkle expected from Gurney, sadness and remorse.
