LOVE LETTER: TRIBUTE TO BONNIE RAITT at Summer Tracks (Rogers Park, Tryon NC)

One of Summer Tracks’ favorite performers and Asheville’s Best in Blues vocalist, Peggy Ratusz returns to Rogers Park with some of Asheville’s finest instrumentalists to celebrate the queen of bottleneck Blues. For more than five decades, Bonnie Raitt has inspired generations of musicians—including Ratusz herself—with her unsurpassed prowess as a singer, guitarist and songwriter. Raitt’s incredibly versatile talent crosses Blues, Folk, Roots, Pop, Rock and Soul genres. “Love Letter” presents a powerful and nostalgic evening of Raitt’s classic hits, as well as a selection of her lesser-known but just as mesmerizing works.
In addition to Ratusz out in front on vocals, the band features Jonathan “JP” Pearlman on guitar, Kelly Pierce Jones on guitar and vocals, Zack Page on bass, Kevin Sanders on keys and backing vocals, Justin Watt on drums and special guest Smoky Greenwell on harmonica.
