Love Jones: Cupid’s Trio is an intimate, jazz-forward R&B experience where singing, poetry, and live instruments work together as three guiding forces of love. Throughout the night, Cupid’s Trio doesn’t just perform—they interact, intuit, and choose moments to “shoot the arrow,” inviting guests into a shared experience of sound, feeling, and connection.

Each element of the trio—
voice, word, and instrument—takes turns guiding the room.

Sometimes the singing stands alone.
Sometimes poetry weaves through familiar love songs.
Sometimes the music becomes the background for moments that linger.

Guests will help shape the night by choosing from a curated list of love-forward selections—reimagined and re-felt—including classics like Anita Baker’s Angel, Bobby Sparks’ Love Dance, and even unexpected favorites like I Got 5 On It—transformed into a slow, sensual love song.

Nothing is rushed.

The night flows as a conversation between performers and audience, creating a listening room designed for intimacy, surprise, and softness.

Our signature drink, Slow Sex in the Morning, will be poured all night until it’s gone, setting the tone for a grown, sensual, and mystical evening rooted in love and presence.
