👻 The parade is back! Join Love Flemington for an afternoon of costumes, community, and a little friendly competition in Court Street Park.

What to Expect
We're bringing back the Kids' Halloween Parade, plus a costume contest with categories for every kind of costume:
- Scariest (ages 4–7 and ages 8+)
- Funniest (ages 4–7 and ages 8+)
- Most Original / Creative (ages 4–7 and ages 8+)
- Pet Costume
- Best Duo
- Family / Group
And for our littlest ghosts and goblins — Tiny Trick-or-Treaters (ages 0–3) — every little one who joins gets celebrated with applause and a treat, no judging involved.
Before You Go
Pre-registration is encouraged so we can get an accurate headcount ahead of time. Please note: check-in closes at 6:00 PM sharp — if you're not checked in by then, you won't be able to participate in the contest.
Meet Our Judges
This year's costumes will be judged by four familiar faces from around town:
- Becky, owner of Chirp Workshop, representing the Historic Main Street District
- Meg, owner of Play Place, representing the Circle Shopping District
- Shana, owner of EPIC Dance, representing the Stangl Arts & Cultural District
- Officer Frank, Flemington Borough Police Department
Music & Entertainment
Live beats and MCing all evening from Showoff Productions — expect some Monster Mash energy and spooky tunes to keep the party going!
Photo Booth
Capture the moment at the photo booth, courtesy of local business Black Lab Imaging — perfect for showing off your spookiest, silliest, or most original look of the night.
Trick-or-Treating
While our judges deliberate, kids can enjoy trick-or-treating right in the park.
Prizes
One winner will be named per category, taking home a trophy plus a goodie bag filled with treats from our local downtown businesses.
Come in costume, bring the whole family (pets welcome for the Pet Costume category!), and help us kick off Halloween week in downtown Flemington.
