The LOVE Club Gathering is a monthly community activity for older lesbian, gay, bi+, trans, and queer (LGBTQ+) people, their supporters, allies and friends. The gathering aims is to create a safe, respectful and welcoming space to share regular social time, health information and activities.
All sexualities, gender identities, cultures and backgrounds are welcome.
The gathering is all about maintaining connections, making new ones, building ongoing support networks and having access to healthy ageing information.
When: Every fourth Thursday of each month from 10:00am to 12pm.
Where: Ground floor cafe at ACON, 414 Elizabeth Street, Surry Hills.
Activities may include:
sharing lived experiences and stories
writing, arts or music
supporting physical and emotional wellbeing
intergenerational conversations
allied services and community speakers
