Love As Liberation: The LOVE Project Artist Talk & Tasting Experience
About this Event
In honor of Juneteenth, join photographer Tay Clark for a conversation centered on The LOVE Project, a photographic exploration of love, Black joy, tenderness, and community.
At a time when stories of Black life are often framed through struggle, The LOVE Project offers a different perspective—one rooted in intimacy, humanity, and celebration. Through selected works from the exhibition, Tay Clark will discuss the creative process, community response, and the power of photography to preserve moments that deserve to be seen and remembered.
This artist talk invites audiences to reflect on love not only as an emotion, but as a practice of freedom, resistance, and collective care.
Featured Experience: Black-Owned Product Tasting
As part of the evening, guests are invited to participate in a guided walk-through tasting featuring a curated selection of Black-owned spirit and specialty products available throughout the store. This interactive experience celebrates the innovation, craftsmanship, and entrepreneurial spirit of Black makers while encouraging attendees to explore and support local and national Black-owned brands.
