An evening of Armenian song, presented by AGBU and benefiting the Orange County Armenian Genocide Memorial at the Irvine Great Park.
🎟 Tickets $60: https://agbu.org/love-homeland-reserve
The AGBU LA Choir brings "Love & Homeland" to Orange County, joined by the OC Saturday School Children's Choir. Under Choir Conductor Nektar Mirakyan, the choir has become one of the most beloved voices of Armenian music in Southern California: a community choir, open to all who love to sing, that performs our songs with artistry and heart. They will be accompanied by a musical ensemble led by Shushan Hakobyan.
Proceeds support the first public Armenian Genocide memorial in Orange County. At its center, sculptor Brittany Ryan's bronze of a mother carrying her child, surrounded by krunks in flight, will stand in the Heart of the Park at the Irvine Great Park, with installation scheduled for Spring 2028.
Bring your family, bring a friend, and help carry the memorial from maquette to bronze.
