Note the location is NOT the building on Port Road that once was Lou's Shack!After a bit of a struggle to find a permanent home for this event, a good part of 2025 was spent converting the old horse stables here at the farm into a cosy, community venue, which will be the new home of Lou’s Shack Open Mic.
Format is simple, 6 performers, 3 songs each. Full backline provided, just bring your instrument and play.
This is our home and not a licensed venue, so you are welcome to bring some drinks and nibbles.
This is about musicians and friends getting together and playing, with no judgement on genre, style or ability. Lou encouraged countless budding artists to just get up and do it, and this is what we are here to encourage.
Entry is a gold coin donation, which will go to Judith’s Legacy.
