HOW TO ATTEND A SCREENING
You must arrive at a film screening venue and get in line for your preferred screening time. Please note that screening times on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon are particularly popular, especially at the Robinson Film Center. We highly recommend looking at less popular screening times for the shortest lines and at venues other than the Robinson Film Center. If a screening time is full, you will need to select a new screening time and get in line.
Visit prizefest.com/schedule for a detailed look at each of the events, screening times, venue information, parking, and more.
HOW TO VOTE FOR THE WINNER
In order to vote for the $50,000 winner of Louisiana Film Prize, you must view all 20 short films. To do this, attend one of each of the two film blocks — "Teal Slate" and "Orange Slate" — which each contain 10 films. Each film block will be screened dozens of times at different venues and screening times during the festival. Once you have watched a film block, be sure to have your festival badge marked by an usher to confirm that you have seen those films. Once you have seen all 20 films, go to the voting booth to cast your ballot. Voting booths are open until 30 minutes after the final screening each night.
