The Meadworks is thrilled to host bestselling author Louis Bayard (https://www.louisbayard.com/) to discuss his latest, highly acclaimed novel, "The Wildes" (https://www.louisbayard.com/the-wildes). As we anticipate high interest in this event, seating opens at 6:30pm.
Lou will do a reading from the novel, centering on Oscar Wilde's wife Constance and their two sons in the aftermath of the famous playwright's imprisonment for homosexuality, and answer questions from moderator Rosanna Weaver and the audience.
Lou will also be happy to sign books and there will be copies of the hardback available for sale at the event.
