To celebrate the motivational and mentoring legacy of Coach Louie Golden, the education and civil rights leadership of Rev Dr. Grady Butler, the civic responsibility and community elevation of Bennie Cunningham Sr. and the historical trailblazing contributions of James "Tiny" Edgar Smith, while raising funds to support the grooming of young males to achieve excellence in every field of human endeavor!.
The Greenville SC Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity seeks to honor the achievements of some of our members here in South Carolina and raise funds to continue our programs aimed at encouraging young males to achieve excellence in every field of human endeavor. This event will include a charity golf tournament and a gospel concert headlined by Furman Univeristy graduate and Grammy/Dove Award-winning artist Rudy Currence. Proceeds will fund college Scholarships and support The Guide Right Youth Programs/Kappa League/ Kappa Knights which emphasize, Discipline, Assurance, Appearance, Academics, Confidence, Scholarship, Dispute Resolution, Conflict Prevention & Resolution, Career Preparation and Achievement. The programs are dedicated to both Middle School males and High School males. The Programs provide scholarships to High School Seniors. The Kappa League and Kappa Knights Programs have provided numerous scholarships, scholastic training, academic and social confidence to the participants strengthening their pathways to success.
