About this Event

Cover crops - what are they? How do I incorporate them into my farm? Can they work in different farming contexts? How do I hone my cover cropping systems for even more benefits? We'll be exploring these questions and more.

Light fare from local farms will be provided!

Loudoun Growers Collective meets monthly to discuss a topic or issue concerning local farmers. Growers of all kinds, whether you're raising grains, hay, livestock, fruits, corn & soybeans, vegetables, flowers, or other agricultural products, from micro farms and gardens to multi hundred acre operations. Our particular focus is on supporting new and beginning farmers, providing educational opportunities, and strengthening community ties among growers in our area. We believe farms and farmers are best supported by a thriving, vibrant, connected farm community.
